Nomadix Appoints Wireless Systems Expert Richard Bravman to Board of Directors

NEWBURY PARK, Calif., May 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nomadix Inc. (www.Nomadix.com), the leading provider of intelligent network devices and interconnect services for organizations that own or operate public access networks, today announced that it has elected Richard Bravman to its board of directors. Bravman will be a resource not only as a wireless industry expert, but also as an advisor to help Nomadix manage its rapid growth in revenue and footprint.

Bravman is currently CEO of Coastal Ventures, LLC, a company he formed in 2004 to provide consulting, board, and advisory services to top management of early-stage technology companies and their investors. Coastal Ventures focuses on financial strategy, leadership team building, company expansion in the industry value chain, global expansion of business footprint, and other core facets of enterprise growth.

"Richard's insight and experience in leading a wireless industry frontrunner will be of infinite benefit to Nomadix," said Kurt Bauer, Nomadix' president and CEO. "We are pleased to have Richard's leadership as we build and enhance our core offerings."

Prior to Coastal Ventures, Bravman enjoyed a 26-year tenure at Symbol Technologies, Inc., where, from 1978-2004, he rose from Software Engineer to CEO and Vice Chairman. In that time, Bravman played a key role in turning the 4-person start-up into an NYSE-traded, 5600-employee powerhouse with 2003 sales of $1.5B. Among other titles held at Symbol, Bravman served SVP/GM of the Mobile and Wireless Systems Division.

"Nomadix is a clear winner in public access technology," said Bravman. "With over 25,000 points of presence worldwide and significant growth opportunities in 2005, Nomadix will maintain a dominant role in shaping the public access market. I am pleased to work with the company in this capacity."
