Technalign, Inc. Starts Shipping TaFusion MEPIS Linux with Versora

Easiest Way for Windows Users to Migrate to Linux; Extremely User Friendly Interface

PENNSAUKEN, N.J., May 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Technalign, Inc. has started shipments of TaFusion MEPIS Linux Version XI combined with Versora Progression Desktop products becoming the first Linux vendor to ship an all-in-one package to allow users to convert from Windows easily.

TaFusion MEPIS Linux Version XI is designed to be a simple transition version of Linux for Windows users. Simple interfaces take into account how a Windows user uses Windows so navigation becomes simple. High quality applications bundled with TaFusion MEPIS Linux eliminate the need for buying an office suite and other personal and business applications making it the perfect solution for individuals to high-end corporate users.

Versora Progression Desktop allows users to backup their Windows systems from files and directories to mail and address books. When users restore the backup to their new Linux system, directories and files are in familiar areas while mail and address books are also imported to their new mail systems. Versora Progression Web will be shipping with TaFusion SimplyServer as well as its Business Enterprise Server.

Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. said, "We are committed to providing our resellers and customers the best solutions available. We believe Windows users will now find their transition an extremely easy one using Versora and TaFusion MEPIS Linux. Add Win4Lin on our TaHotFusion brand and Windows users can literally run a protected Windows environment on top of Linux."

Warren Woodford, CEO of MEPIS, LLC, explained how the community would not be impacted. "The community will always have a version to download and our commitment to them will not end. Technalign will be working on projects such as S390 while we will continue to develop products for the community members as well as server and business versions."

Michael Sheffey, CEO of Versora explained that the new partnership provides a simple and fast method for individuals as well as companies to port from Windows to Linux. While Technalign ships every product from TaFusion to TaHotFusion with Versora, it shows a total commitment to the Windows user and the Linux community as well.
