(OTCBB:EPOI), (Frankfurt: EDU), a developer of advanced energy management technologies that significantly increase the efficiency of electrical power devices, is pleased to announce that Mr. George Drazenovic, CGA, MBA, CFA, has joined EPOD's senior management team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him significant corporate development and financial management experience.
Mr. Drazenovic comes from one of North America's premier utility organizations, BC Hydro, where he evaluated, structured, and promoted wind, wave, and biomass energy opportunities. While at BC Hydro, he was also a key member of the management team responsible for implementing the outsourcing of 1,500 back-office and support staff, which, at the time, represented one of the largest utility outsourcing agreements in North America. Prior to BC Hydro, Mr. Drazenovic was a controller for a real estate and development organization and accountant for an internationally recognized public accounting firm.
Educationally, he holds an MBA in finance from the University of Notre Dame, a BA in economics from University of British Columbia, and is a member in good standing with the Certified General Accountants of British Columbia and Vancouver Society of Chartered Financial Analysts. Mr. Drazenovic is a popular guest speaker and featured lecturer for the CFA program having instructed on the topics of Fixed Income Securities, Financial Statement and Credit Analysis, Derivatives and Corporate Finance.
