VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cyberhand Technologies International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CYHD), a leading computer peripheral design company specializing in innovative wireless ergonomic products for mobile and desktop users, has executed a Letter of Intent with T2 Entertainment Ltd. to develop and distribute multiple versions of its high performance, ergonomic game controller for T2's target user base of more than 100 million online gaming customers.
Cyberhand Technologies has agreed to partner with T2 to create and distribute versions of its leading-edge game controller branded and optimized for T2's online games. T2 expects to launch four to six new online games over the next two years and will offer customers their own dedicated game controllers featuring Cyberhand's premier technology and design.
T2 expects to distribute Cyberhand's controllers to at least 1% of T2's targeted 100 million online gaming users over the next two years - a potential market of at least 1 million units. The final terms and conditions of the T2 Distribution Agreement have not yet been finalized. According to T2, the company will capitalize on both the existing popularity of online gaming in the Chinese market and the immense growth of this already accepted but still relatively new market, which has a Compounded Annual Growth Rate of 92%. Online gaming is the cheapest form of entertainment in China and the country's No. 1 application of telecom's value-added data service.
