Aerosim-Mechtronix, Together With Clairis, Signs Airbus Software Package Agreement

MONTREAL, May 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Aerosim-Mechtronix, a provider of Flight Simulation Technology worldwide, announced that they have signed together with Clairis Technologies a joint memorandum of understanding (MOU) with leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus at Foire de Toulouse in France, on March 25, 2005.

The license agreement allows Aerosim-Mechtronix to integrate Airbus simulation software from Airbus A320, A330 and A340 families into elements of its Integrated Training Architecture(tm) (ITA(tm)). Aerosim-Mechtronix' Toulouse-based partner, Clairis Technologies, owned by Sogeclair, will be providing local support and engineering skills to the partnership.

"The MOU we signed is a good start to building a long term business relationship with Aerosim-Mechtronix," said Denis Ribot, Vice-President Avionics and Simulation Products, Division EYY, Airbus France. "We were impressed by the speed of Aerosim-Mechtronix' product development. They were able to build an FFS in a short time, which is a strong indication of their flexibility and ability to offer a complete and high-quality training solution to their customers."

"This agreement recognizes our commitment to providing integrated training solutions for Airbus' operators and training centers," said Fernando Petruzziello, Mechtronix' CEO. "This is a great step forward for us to supply advanced training solutions for Airbus aircraft."

The agreement signed was made possible thanks to the persistence and willingness of the Airbus, Clairis Technologies, and Aerosim-Mechtronix teams. "Aerosim-Mechtronix is an excellent business partner due to their engineering capabilities and flexibility," said Philippe Robardey, CEO, Sogeclair, owner of Clairis Technologies.
