PrimeZone Client News Now Available on MSN

Latest Addition Completes Major Expansion for News Release Company

LOS ANGELES, May 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- News releases distributed via PrimeZone Media Network are now being displayed on MSN Money and MSNBC.com. The addition of MSN Money and MSNBC to PrimeZone's online distribution network completes a major expansion for the news release company. The expansion encompasses both news and photo services.

"We are extremely pleased to be adding our client releases to MSN Money and MSNBC.com," said Tom Madden, CEO of PrimeZone. "We have been working for many months to make the releases available on MSN, which has global reach of over 400 million unique users on a monthly basis."

The addition of MSN Money and MSNBC culminates a network and service expansion for PrimeZone.

"We feel our distribution network is second to none and that we have more than leveled the playing field with our competitors," said Madden.

Some highlights of this expansion include:

  • Aggregation of news releases on MSN Money and MSNBC, giving PrimeZone access to all major online financial and news portals. In total, releases via PrimeZone can be found in more than 3,500 online sites;

  • Completion of an agreement with The Associated Press (AP) for access to the AP PhotoExpress delivery system;

  • Aggregation of PrimeZone client releases into the online sites of Reuters, AOL, Kiplinger and Fidelity, among others;

  • Opening of AP's European and Asian news distribution channels to PrimeZone's international releases;

  • Expansion of PrimeZone's Canadian network via an agreement with the Canadian Press's PR Direct unit; and

  • The offering of full-text press release newsfeeds via RSS (Real Simple Syndication) channels. (RSS channels allow journalists, consumers and other individuals to receive and aggregate content from various news sources using a desktop application commonly referred to as an RSS Reader.)

"We are completely committed to offering value pricing with the best service in the industry," said Madden." And, as this recent expansion suggests, we will not stop looking for new and vibrant ways to reach more media and improve our service."

PrimeZone's network now includes distribution in 80 countries and in 23 languages.
