LAX Media Reps Available for Memorial Day Holiday Travel Interviews


MEDIA ADVISORY, May 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) --



 WHAT:     Media representatives will be on hand to share passenger 
           traffic estimates for this summer's travel season from 
           Memorial Day through Labor Day.  During the four-day 
           Memorial Day weekend, LAX expects to serve nearly 800,000 
           passengers.  Approximately 18.5 million passengers are 
           expected to pass through LAX this summer.      

 WHEN:     Friday, May 27
           5:30 a.m. -- 8:30 a.m.

 WHERE:    Terminal 1, Upper/Departure Level   

 WHO:      Los Angeles International Airport media representatives 

 PARKING:  Broadcast-equipped media vehicles displaying a valid LAX 
           Media Parking permit may park terminal curbside under 
           these conditions: 
           1. Terminal curbside on the Upper/Departure Level between 
              Terminals 1 and 2; Terminal 3 and Tom Bradley 
              International Terminal (TBIT); and TBIT and Terminal 4
           2. Vehicles MUST be attended at all times  

           Broadcast-equipped media vehicles displaying a valid LAX 
           Media Parking permit may also park in the vendor delivery 
           parking areas adjacent to Parking Structures 3, 4 and 6 
           within the Central Terminal Area.  
           1. Vehicles are subject to random inspection
           2. No need to have vehicles attended 

           All other media can park in any of the parking 
           structures.
