Soleil Film's First Feature Film, 'All That I Need' Has Successful Second Screening at Cannes Film Festival

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Soleil Film, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFLM) announced today that the second screening of its acclaimed independent feature film, "All That I Need", held on May 20th at the Cannes Film Festival, was met with considerable media coverage and acquisition interest from film distributors worldwide. Cast members from the film attended the screening and were on hand to conduct interviews with the media, including industry mainstay, E! Entertainment Television.

After the screening, the film's Director/Producer, James Hergott, commented, "At events such as Cannes, it is truly a rare occurrence for film buyers to stay for the entire length of a feature. Typically, buyers stay for the first 5 to 10 minutes of a film and then leave." He added, "So many film buyers attended our second screening that the theatre was left with 'standing room only' and we were forced to turn many away at the door, and when the screening was finished the film was met with a roar of applause from the attendees." Ashley Luke, International Acquisitions Representative for Fortissimo Films, the international distributor of "Super Size Me," commented that the film was "awesome," "mainstream," and "commercial," and is currently recommending several international sales agents.

Buyers in attendance for the second screening represented distributors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany. Current offers from distributors within Germany and the United Kingdom are worth an estimated $350,000 to $700,000, while an offer for the North American market, in the form of a pay-per-view deal, is worth an estimated $1 million and are being considered.

Buyers who expressed interest but could not attend, such as Barnholtz Entertainment, in association with an output agreement for Lion's Gate Films, are interested in private screenings.
