PointRoll Recruits Industry Veterans to Its Sales Team


FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., June 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PointRoll, Inc., continuing its rapid growth in the rich media marketing services sector, announces two new additions to its high performance sales team. Gian Lombardi, an online industry veteran from Maven Networks and DoubleClick Inc., and Karie Gilson from the IAB, have both accepted leadership assignments with the company.

Lombardi has been named Regional Vice President and will lead PointRoll's East Cost Sales group. He will be reporting to Andrew Ellenthal, SVP of Worldwide Sales. PointRoll sales offices in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Boston will report to Lombardi. Lombardi has held senior level sales positions at Maven and DoubleClick Inc. and brings a wide range of strategic and technical skills to the role. At DoubleClick, Gian played an important part in the launch of DART for Publishers, DART for Advertisers, DARTMail and Diameter Research.

Gilson, Director of Channel Development, will be responsible for working with publishers that are part of PointRoll's proprietary Included(tm) Program. She will report to Rob Cark, VP Channel Development. The Included program, which has over 35 publisher sites, allows publishers to offer PointRoll technology and services at no additional charge to their advertisers (subject to publisher eligibility).

Since the beginning of the year, PointRoll has added 16 new employees with key placements in its offices in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. PointRoll continues to grow faster than the online advertising industry with year to date volume outpacing the +163% revenue reported in 2004.
