Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Appoints Michele Toth Sector Vice President, Human Resources and Administration


MCLEAN, Va., June 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Michele Toth vice president, human resources and administration, for the company's Information Technology (IT) sector, effective June 1. Toth reports to James O'Neill, president of Northrop Grumman IT.

In this role, Toth will plan and implement the IT sector's human resources strategy, directing the development of the sector's work force, including talent acquisition, leadership development and training, employee relations, organization change and effectiveness, and compensation and benefits.

"She understands our vision to be the nation's most trusted information-technology provider, and her track record in all functional aspects of business will further strengthen our management team and will serve the IT sector well."

Toth joins the IT sector from her most recent position as vice president, human resources, for Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector in Redondo Beach, Calif. She has held several other human-resources positions, along with functional positions of increasing responsibility, including being director of strategic planning in the company's Electronic Systems sector. She has also led the successful human-resources integration of newly acquired organizations into Northrop Grumman.

She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in statistics and industrial psychology from the University of Baltimore. She has also completed the Harvard University General Manager Program.
