Innova Holdings, Inc. Opens Manufacturing Facility in Detroit

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla., June 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Innova Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:IVHG), a software company providing software solutions to the service, personal, and industrial robotic markets, announces that it has leased a manufacturing facility in the greater Detroit, MI metropolitan area that will be used by its subsidiary, Robotic Workspace Technologies, Inc. (RWT) to assemble the Universal Robot Controller (URC(tm)) to meet production requirements in the Midwest.

"There are more than 135,000 robots being used in North America," explains Walter Weisel, Chairman and CEO of Innova Holdings and RWT, "and the highest concentration of these is in the Midwest where they are used by automobile manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and other heavy equipment manufacturers. The URC, with its plug-and-play capability to replace obsolete proprietary controls with today's state-of-the art open architecture controls is a cost-effective solution to extend the life of robotic systems that are in good mechanical condition. This new manufacturing facility will enable us to provide our customers a local production source, saving precious time and expense associated with deliveries."

RWT's flagship product is the Universal Robot Controller that utilizes the PC platform and the Microsoft(r) Windows(r) environment to provide an open-architecture PC control system for controlling robots and other automated equipment and processes. It also serves as a higher-level supervisory control system for systems integration. The URC features a "plug-and-play" design that facilitates the easy replacement of proprietary controls. The URC's universal robot programming language, RobotScript(r), is a derivative of Microsoft's Visual Basic Scripting Edition. The URC has been awarded two U.S. patents. It is currently operating on a variety of ABB, Fanuc, Cincinnati Milacron, Kawasaki, and Yaskawa Motoman robots being used in North America at Fortune 100 companies like Northrop Grumman, Martin Marietta, General Dynamics, Lockheed, and at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, plus Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plants.
