Bitfone Adds Glen Kazerman to Exec Team as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., June 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Bitfone Corp. (www.bitfone.com), the pioneer and patent holder of firmware over-the-air (FOTA) update technology for mobile phones, today announced it has appointed Glen Kazerman to its executive management team as senior vice president of worldwide sales.

Kazerman has more than 17 years of experience in sales, business development and marketing in the wireless, telecommunications, software and networking industries. Previously, he was a founder and senior vice president at Broadmargin, Inc., where he developed the company's business strategy for the telecom cost-management marketplace, including its unique, flexible delivery platform for managing network costs. At Broadmargin, Kazerman's work increased revenue from pure startup figures in 1999 to more than $50 million in 2004. He also served as vice president and general manager at Kasten Chase, Inc., where he achieved 65 percent revenue growth and doubled the company's market capitalization during his tenure. Additional posts include senior management positions at Nortel Networks, Open Market, Banyan Systems and Ernst & Young.

"Bitfone created the FOTA market and established a strong foothold with customers like Motorola, LGE and QUALCOMM embedding our patented technology into their devices. Bitfone's 'find it, fix it, enhance it' device management strategy is now resonating with mobile operators, driving us to increase sales activity," said Gene Wang, chairman and CEO of Bitfone. "Glen's outstanding track record of growing companies by developing sustainable new revenue streams will help Bitfone to realize our full market potential."

"The mobile device management market is hot and getting hotter. Bitfone is ready to capitalize on the opportunity with an experienced team, a strong IP portfolio and new product releases that will blow away the competition," said Kazerman. "As we've seen with FOTA, Bitfone is an innovator and market driver, and I'm excited to help them exceed their goals."
