STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Fredrik Arp, currently President and CEO at Trelleborg AB, has been appointed new President and CEO at Volvo Car Corporation effective October 1, 2005. Fredrik Arp will succeed Hans-Olov Olsson, who becomes Chairman of the Board at Volvo Car Corporation October 1, 2005.
Volvo Cars will hold a press conference on Thursday June 9 at 12.00 PM at the Volvo Exhibition Centre (Volvohallen) Torslanda, Goteborg.
