Harland Completes Acquisition of Liberty


ATLANTA, June 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- John H. Harland Company (NYSE:JH) has completed its previously announced acquisition of Liberty Enterprises, Inc., the company announced today. Harland acquired Liberty for $160 million in a cash-for-assets transaction.

The addition of Liberty expands Harland's presence among credit unions, and the combined range of products and services positions Harland as the preferred partner for credit unions across the country.
