California Software and Microsoft Complete Midrange Modernization Tour

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., June 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- California Software Corporation (Pink Sheets:CSWX), a leader in Legacy Extension, Business Intelligence and loan production software for banks, credit unions and consumer lending institutions and developer of the award-winning INFINITE and LPS product lines, announced today that it has completed a three city tour with Microsoft in New York, Chicago and Toronto.

"As one of the founding members of the Microsoft Midrange Alliance Program, California Software has engaged with our partner, Microsoft and other select Microsoft partners to discuss legacy extension options for IBM iSeries users in New York, Chicago and Toronto," said Carol Conway, President, California Software.

California Software has worked closely with the Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft Corporation to provide options for IBM AS/400 and iSeries users as they seek to extend and modernize their legacy applications. Of primary importance to many iSeries software developers and end-users is the ability to web-enable and integrate their existing legacy applications with other Microsoft programs. This tour has provided easy-to-use and cost-effective options to the IBM community to accomplish that goal.
