Semcon Sells Its Shareholding in Euromation AB


GOTEBORG, Sweden, June 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Semcon's sale is part of a larger transaction where EuroMaint will acquire all the shares of the maintenance company Euromation from Volvo Technology Transfer AB, Powertrain AB and Volvo Cars AB.

"The deal is a further step in focusing the business and freeing up Semcon's resources. The resources will be used in our long-term investment in becoming an internationally leading design and development company. Our investments over the past 12 months include the acquisition of ComTest, Propeller and Pentech, plus setting up Zound by Semcon.
