SANTA ANA, Calif., June 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- eWan1, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWAN), today successfully "lit up" its first Los Angeles "hotspot" at the L.A. Grand Event, a popular restaurant located at 555 West 7th St., Los Angeles, providing anyone in the area with today's standard PDAs, laptop computers, or Broadband-enabled hand-held telephones to access the Internet and all its functions via high-speed connection. "We are making available 54 MGs of 802-11 at no cost to the public for the next 90 days to demonstrate our superior technology," commented William J. Kettle, eWan's Chairman and CEO. Scott Kettle, eWan's Chief Technology Officer, said the Wi-Fi location has been a beta test site for the last 30 days, proving eWan's concept prior to the Company's addition of new services and programs in the next several months. "Our superior Wi-Fi technology and personal service will now be available to all other restaurants, cafes, clubs, and other well-attended gathering places throughout Los Angeles," Kettle remarked.
