MEDIA ADVISORY, July 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Let's Lick Leukemia ... I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream! Over the past six years The Joshua Kahan Fund's "all you can eat" ice cream events have raised over $400,000 to help find a cure for pediatric leukemia.

Admission is $5; children 2 and under are free. In addition, there will be games and rides with tickets sold separately. All the proceeds will go to the Joshua Kahan Fund. The money is donated to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to fund various research projects. This year the fund donated two playrooms at Children's Hospital on the oncology floor. BACKGROUND: Joshua Kahan was a normal two-year-old boy who loved fire trucks, ice cream, cows and his family. In 1997, Joshua was diagnosed with AML Leukemia, and five months later he lost his courageous battle. In his memory, his parents Jeff and Michelle created a fund to perpetuate his name and fight to find a cure for Pediatric leukemia. Pediatric leukemia is the No. 1 disease killer of children between the ages of 1 and 14 years old in the United States.
