COSTA MESA, Calif., July 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- RSM EquiCo, a global investment bank specializing in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising for the private middle market, has named John T. Hennessey vice president of the firm's broker-dealer subsidiary, RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC.
Hennessey, who is based in Boston, will provide M&A and capital raising advisory services to RSM EquiCo's investment banking clients.
"John's extensive knowledge of M&A will be an asset to the firm's middle-market clients on the East Coast," said Randy Krauthamer, managing director of RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC.
Hennessey brings more than 10 years of finance and investment banking experience. Prior to joining RSM EquiCo, he served as vice president for Citigroup's middle market M&A division, operating from its New York office. Before that, he was a director of business development for Global Risk Management, where he developed corporate hedge strategies for Fortune 1000 clients, combining derivative instruments and international cash flows.
Hennessey's undergraduate studies included plastics engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and finance at California State University, Long Beach. He earned a master's in business administration from Pepperdine University.
