REDONDO BEACH, Calif., July 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has promoted Paul Gregory to vice president of human resources, from his previous position as controller, at the company's Space Technology sector. He reports to Alexis Livanos, president of Northrop Grumman Space Technology.

Gregory, 45, will plan and implement the sector's human-resources strategy, as well as manage employee relations, organization change and effectiveness, compensation and benefits, recruiting, leadership development, training and all other functions of the human-resources process.

Since joining the company in 1981, Gregory has held various management positions within the company's Mission Systems sector and TRW Inc.'s corporate headquarters. In his previous assignment as the controller for the Space Technology sector, he managed resources and rates, financial reporting and forecasting, government cost settlements and shared accounting services.

"Paul has broad experience in a diverse set of Northrop Grumman organizations, and his breadth will serve him well in this new leadership role," said Livanos. "His strategic perspective, creativity and in-depth understanding of the business will contribute greatly to the success of the sector."

Gregory earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
