Public Company Management Corp.'s Brock to Lead Small Business Fundraising Efforts for Beers' Gubernatorial Campaign

LAS VEGAS, July 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stephen Brock, president of Public Company Management Corporation (OTCBB: PUBC), has been selected to lead small public company fundraising efforts for Bob Beers' race for the Nevada governorship. Beers (R-Las Vegas) serves on the advisory board for PUBC, which provides consulting and advising services to small companies seeking to access public capital markets. Brock, as PUBC's chief executive, is an ideal choice to run Beers' small business and economic development initiative for the State of Nevada. This initiative will seek out small businesses that benefit from being a Nevada corporation and a public company, as well as companies that benefit from operating in the state's pro-business, low-tax environment. As the next Nevada governor, Beers would help restore some of the liberty and economic freedom that has made Nevada famous as a small business mecca -- and that has been eroded over the past two sessions.

"I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with companies across the state to help elect Bob as our next governor," Brock said. "My wife's family, Frank and Richard Scott, have been here since the 1950s, and it's sad to watch the growth of the 'tax and spend' attitude in this state, which will possibly take us down the same path as California. As a fiscal conservative and a small businessman himself, Beers is a candidate that small public and private companies can confidently align themselves with."

Bob Beers, a licensed Certified Public Accountant, currently represents District 6 in the Nevada Senate. During the most recent legislative session, Beers supported the Nevada Taxpayer Bill of Rights (www.nvtabor.com). He serves as vice-chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, and member of the Committees on Natural Resources, and Legislative Operations and Elections. Beers has long advocated fiscal responsibility in the face of rapid acceleration in Nevada's government growth. He is expected to face Rep. Jim Gibbons (R-Nev.) in the primary election, which will be held in mid-August 2006.
