Lantronix and its Customers Presented With M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards

Awards Honored Christie Digital and Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics as Leading Adopters of M2M Technology

IRVINE, Calif., July 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Lantronix, Inc. (Nasdaq:LTRX) today announced that two of its customers, Christie Digital Systems, Inc. and Honeywell (NYSE:HON) Security and Custom Electronics were awarded M2M Magazine's Value Chain Awards in both the manufacturing and professional services categories respectively. As the only company winning two awards, Lantronix was recognized as the solution provider enabling the successful implementation of both companies' products. Chosen by industry analysts and M2M Magazine editors, the Value Chain Award winners were announced at the M2M United Conference in Chicago on June 28, 2005.

"We are honored that M2M Magazine chose to bestow two awards to our customers' excellent M2M solutions enabled by our industry-leading device networking technology," said Marc Nussbaum, president and CEO of Lantronix. "Lantronix continues its commitment to supply our customers with strategic M2M solutions that give them time-to-market advantages and increased product differentiation. These awards illustrate the value Lantronix solutions provide to our customers."

In Christie's audio-visual application, ChristineNET(tm) and Honeywell's AlarmNET security solution, Lantronix's device server technology provided both applications with the ability to remotely access and monitor information over the network and Internet. In addition, each company has realized new revenue streams and unprecedented levels of service and support to their customers by adding M2M technology to their applications.

The M2M Value Chain Awards were created to highlight the process of combining a number of technologies, as well as application software and infrastructure, to illustrate how all the elements of a M2M value chain can create an award-winning solution for the end customer.
