Photo Release -- Byczkowski Named FHLBank Cincinnati Communications Officer


CINCINNATI, July 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (FHLBank Cincinnati) has named John J. Byczkowski to the position of assistant vice president, communications. Mr. Byczkowski is responsible for media and investor relations as well as corporate communications.

Prior to his employment with the FHLBank, John worked at the Cincinnati Enquirer where he enjoyed a 20-year career in such capacities as business reporter, senior business reporter, and assistant business editor. He also served as a senior manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was responsible for establishing a new Web site and online communications procedures. As a freelance writer, John has contributed to articles that have been published in American Banker, Business Week, and the New York Times.

John holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Buffalo State College, Buffalo, New York, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned a master's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University, graduating summa cum laude.
