MB Tech Updates Product Status and Projects

LAS VEGAS, July 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- MB Tech (OTCBB:MBTT) announced that it has received the approval of the Department of Education (Korea) to develop a cell phone tracking and surveillance device, a technology already present in MB Tech's multi-layer, multi-band patch antenna technology. The device, similar in design to the flat antenna system proposed for use in North America, will focus on detection of cell and PCS phone signals, TRS (trunked radio system), wireless LAN and walkie-talkie signals. This device will be prepared in concert with a company that supplies educational surveillance equipment to schools.

MB Tech additionally provided status on the following products:

The production run of the Flat Antennae system for North America has been tooled with the exception of the top cover. This will be the last piece prepared for assembly after a meeting with distributors in Los Angeles at the end of July so that this piece agrees with their branding requirements and accommodates feature options (LCD or LED) with little or no impact to final product appearance, matching "the line" of the flat antenna system. This product is considered on schedule.

The Marine Antenna design is complete and the full implementation of the Korean system will be finished by mid-August. The Korean specific version will be integrated with sea navigation equipment and employ digital dithering technology to maintain a sharp image while the digital graphic signal converts to analog signal for Television. The production initiation has not been scheduled.

MB Tech remarked on two developments in its recent SEC filings. The first is the status of a longstanding contract with a Japanese company for a flat antenna. This antenna has been delivered and field tested, and now waits for completion of product import and registration. The other is the CATV Amplifier, which is now being evaluated for operation under the Korean government's process of "Certification for Information and Communication Equipment" (equivalent to the U.S. FCC testing). This product addresses Korea's need to change indoor amplifiers to add more channels. The new product will supply a wider range amplification of 5-1GHz.

"With completion of these projects that address mass market needs, we express our appreciation for everyone's hard work, dedication, and patience through what has been a tremendously busy 6 months. We are cautiously optimistic that our continued progress and advanced technology will be for our shareholders' benefit," said Hanwook Bae, CEO of MB Tech.
