Richard Hunt to Speak at Honor Roll and Sixth Annual Bank Investor Conference


GAINESVILLE, Ga., July 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Richard A. Hunt, President and CEO of GB&T Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq:GBTB) will present at the Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW) Honor Roll and sixth Annual Community Bank Investor Conference. The conference is to be held at The Pierre Hotel in New York City on July 26th and July 27th. Greg Hamby, EVP and CFO will also be a participant.

The conference will showcase approximately 84 community banks and thrifts. Investors will have an opportunity to evaluate and question the presenting companies on recent trends and operating results.
