Wide E. Convergence Technologies Americas Corp. Announces Special Meeting


TORONTO and BAY CITY, Mich., July 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wide E-Convergence Technologies Americas Corporation (WECTAC) (Pink Sheets:WDCVF), a provider of e-learning software and services for training, education and communication, advises that a Special Meeting of shareholders will be held on August 4, 2005, to transfer the domicile of WECTAC from Canada to the USA.

Upon receipt of shareholder approval at the meeting, WECTAC will cease to be a Canadian Company and instead will become an American company. It will then be in a position to apply for the removal of the "F" from its trading symbol.
