(Pink Sheets:CLYW), an emerging leader in advanced wireless telecommunications technology announced today that it has signed a field trial installation agreement with Linkotel for its dual mode C1250i, Wi-Fi/GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone. The field trial will be conducted by Servinova, Cisco Systems (Nasdaq:CSCO) registered partner company.

Calypso Wireless' ASNAP(tm) patented technology (U.S. Patent #6,680,923) enables mobile users to seamlessly switch back and forth between cellular networks such as GSM or CDMA and Wi-Fi wireless local area networks (WLAN) utilizing the 802.11 standard. Mobile users using Calypso's ASNAP(tm) cellular phones will be able to access any Wi-Fi zones installed and access the Internet at broadband speeds of up to 11,000 Kbps per second (11Mbps) enabling broadband connectivity on Calypso' C1250i dual-band WiFi-GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone.

The C1250i's browser can be used both inside and outside the WLAN; users always have access to the Internet. Instant messaging between C1250i handsets on a wireless LAN is also possible.
