PointRoll Brings on Jason Tafler as VP of Business Development and Strategy


FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., July 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PointRoll Inc., a leader in rich media technology and service, has hired Jason Tafler as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. Tafler will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and partnerships with companies that are complementary to PointRoll's core rich media business.

Prior to joining PointRoll, Tafler was an M&A specialist with The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. (JEGI), a boutique mergers and acquisitions investment bank serving clients in the media, information, and marketing services industries. At JEGI, he specialized in the online media and marketing services sectors, conducting in-depth market research to identify strategic acquisitions for both buy- and sell-side engagements. In this capacity, Tafler played an instrumental role in closing the sale of PointRoll to Gannett Company, Inc. (NYSE:GCI).

Earlier in his career, Tafler was Director of Business Development at Kemur Publishing Co., Ltd., a leading lifestyles publisher based in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario. Tafler received his Bachelors of Business Administration from York University in Toronto and was awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst by the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA. He will be based in PointRoll's Manhattan office.
