Milagro Entertainment Acquires the Movie, Television, and Broadway Rights to the Legendary Singing Group 'The Andrews Sisters'

LAS VEGAS, July 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Milagro Entertainment, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Milagro Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MLGH), is pleased to announce that it has acquired the film, television, and Broadway rights for the life story of "The Andrews Sisters."

"This is the continuance of a well-developed plan for Milagro in acquiring rights and building assets that will ultimately be the platform that will give Milagro a strong foothold within the film and television industries. We believe that the life story of The Andrews Sisters, and as the film will be titled 'The American Sweethearts,' is so compelling and timely that it will definitely garner an interest of both a major film studio, and we are already in discussions with major actresses/singers to play the roles," said Stephen Brown, Pres./CEO. "We also believe that this has all the makings of a very successful Broadway show, and we will aggressively pursue that avenue also."

About The Andrews Sisters

In the 1930s and 40s, the public deemed the Andrew Sisters as American as baseball and apple pie. They were role models, celebrities, trendsetters, and an inspiration to millions. As a recording trio, they were unique in every way possible. They each possessed perfect pitch, harmonized brilliantly together, and carried a vocal styling that was magically all their own. They were responsible for selling close to 100 million records, recording over 700 songs, having over 100 songs on the "Billboard Top 30 List," and were the first all-female group to have an album reach platinum status. They were successful entertainers, radio personalities, were featured in over 17 Hollywood feature films, and even graced the Broadway stages. And they were proud American girls -- each with an extremely varied and distinct look and personality. It isn't surprising that they were considered America's sweethearts.
