NACKA STRAND, Sweden, MELBOURNE, Australia, BALA CYNWYD, Pa., and STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Proxilliant Systems Corp., a leading supplier of systems and technologies to improve scalability, capacity, service quality and profitability of broadband cable networks, today announced the opening of its Asia Pacific sales office in Melbourne, Australia to strengthen its global position in the broadband market.

Proxilliant gives cable operators a powerful ingress blocking tool that improves scalability, capacity, service quality and profitability of broadband networks. "The broadband market in Asia Pacific continues to show strong growth with higher bandwidth offerings and more value-added services, increasing its strategic importance to Proxilliant," said Arne Ljungdahl, Proxilliant CEO. "Our new office in Australia will allow us to establish a presence in the area and demonstrate our commitment and investment in the Asian market.
