FAIRFAX, Va., July 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- As part of the United State Government's, and in particular the Department of Defense's, strive to improve its logistic processes and operations, CODE Plus, Inc. has been awarded a Blanket Purchasing Agreement to provide passive RFID software and engineering services to the Department of Defense and the U.S. Coast Guard.
This two-year BPA is a multiple award contract vehicle that can be used to issue various RFID related task orders each with a ceiling of up to $5,000,000.00. Under the terms of this agreement, CODEplus will supply the Army its eManageIT(tm) RFID Tag & Ship Solution, eManageIT(tm) RFID Network Health Monitor and an array of technical engineering services including software development, system integration, training and deployment.
