GRONINGEN, Netherlands, Aug. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PixelPoint Technologies, a leading developer of restaurant POS software, announced today that Noorderpoort College in Groningen, Netherlands will be implementing PixelPoint's POS software for educational purposes at the Hospitality College.
When the new fall semester begins, Noorderpoort College will begin a project in which PixelPoint's POS software will be deployed in two classrooms for the students to study and train on. The students will complete in-class lessons for class credit on how to use features like PixelPoint's StockBoy. Students will also be required to do an internship at one of the school restaurants and bars which will also be running PixelPoint(R) POS.

In June 2006 when the college relocates to its new facility, they will be fully implementing more stations of PixelPoint(R) POS software. The PixelPoint manual and software have been licensed by the Dutch government accrediting it as material for educational purposes, so that the students get credit for successfully passing the course.
