Internal Hydro International's Low Impact Hydro 30 Kilowatt Unit Smaller, More Powerful and Durable

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Internal Hydro International Inc. (OTCBB:IHDR) (www.InternalHydro.com) announces that the new Energy Commander (EC) unit, as built, will have a five- to seven-year life, will be dramatically smaller than its predecessors per kilowatt produced, and will be of an ecologically friendly use in both natural and man-made water flows. Placed domestically in the U.S., the unit will have a very short return on investment. The same model will be standardized for placement in numerous uses. The EC is the first known use of water flow using positive displacement to create electricity.

With eight cylinders, the EC utilizes a 60 psi flow from any natural or artificially created flow to run the positive displacement system to create 30 kilowatts of constantly available energy. The EC does not oxygenate the water and has no impact upon water quality. The cylinders, at six inches in diameter, will power the generator system on a constant basis with a constant availability of energy. The units' size will have a footprint of approximately five feet by four feet and will weigh less than 40 percent of the original EC IV unit. The company will release further information from the engineering firm and its North American partner, Triton Technologies, on the technology in the near future.

The units, with a five- to seven-year life, will be able to support a longer, more profitable revenue stream at a projected cost of about $7,000.00 per unit. Each unit's revenue, depending upon placement domestically, is expected to be $19,000.00 annually depending upon energy costs and energy credits available.

Each unit is designed to have a self-reporting system that will monitor the unit's output of energy by satellite downlink to IHDR for both kilowatt hours produced and maintenance problems before they occur.

The Energy Commander IV (B) models will be produced for deployment to pre-selected areas for first fielding in the near future. The units, as low flow hydro units, will use before un-utilized flows to create energy from wasted sources, thus creating energy for direct use, sale to the grid, and for revenue from energy credits, where available.
