WHAT: The 2005 Summer season at Penn's Landing
presents a new addition, an outdoor film
series with a "funny twist". Each week we
will begin with The Laff House Laff Hour
beginning at 8:00 pm. Following an hour of
comedy will be our featured film shown on a
big screen around 9:00 pm. This entire
event, both the comedy and the film will be
FREE.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION: In celebration of the
movie's August 5th release, the
famed 1969 orange Dodge Charger,
known as "The General Lee" in
Warner Bros. Pictures', The Dukes
of Hazzard will stop at Penn's
Landing's Great Plaza on Thursday,
August 4 from 6pm to 7:30pm.
Tonight, your host is The Legendary Wid,
also known as "the man with 1,001 props".
The Legendary Wid will make you laugh at
the simplest objects he brings on stage,
and will be introducing our featured
comedian for this evening, Rodney Laney.
Rodney has appeared on Comedy Central's
"Premium Blend", The Just For Laugh's
Comedy Festival in Montreal, and was
featured at Chris Tucker's Comedy Club in
Atlanta during the Urban Comedy Festival
"Laffapalooza".
Following this comedy hour is tonight's
feature, "Meet the Parents". Ben Stiller and
Robert DeNiro star in this uproarious
comedy about a most hilarious string of
mishaps that will be sure to entertain you.
