ATA Reports July Scheduled Service Traffic


INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ), today reported that July scheduled service traffic decreased 46.1 percent from 2004 to 707.6 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 44.5 percent compared to 2004 to 855.4 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's July scheduled service passenger load factor decreased 2.5 points to 82.7 percent. There were 548,810 passengers enplaned in July, a decrease of 46.7 percent.

As of July 31, 2005, ATA has a fleet of 22 Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 757-200s, 10 Boeing 757-300s and five Lockheed L-1011s.
