COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Aug. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In July 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 107,513 passengers (+5.7 percent) compared with July 2004.
Breakdown of departing passengers:
The number of locally departing passengers increased by 72,111 passengers (+12.0 percent). The number of transfer/transit passengers decreased by 20,130 passengers (-6.2 percent).
International passengers:
The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 58,872 passengers (+3.8 percent), while the number of international charter passengers increased by 40,765 (+20.3 percent). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 99,844 passengers (+5.7 percent).
Domestic passengers:
The total number of domestic passengers increased by 7,669 passengers (+6.6 percent) compared with July 2004.
Operations and take-off weight:
In July 2005, the total number of take-offs and landings increased by 212 operations (+1.0 percent), while the tonnage increased by 18,615 tonnes (+2.7 percent) compared with July 2004.
