Asia Broadband Establishes Strategic Alliance with China's Leading Educational Services Entity


ATLANTA and SHANGHAI, Aug. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Asia Broadband, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ASAB) is pleased to announce that the Company's Chinese subsidiary, Shanghai Broadband Network Inc., has formed a strategic marketing and sales partnership with China's leading educational services entity, China Centre for International Educational Exchange (CCIEE), to deliver a full range of its educational programs including E-Ya Kids English, IE21 Interactive English and TTS platform and expand the availability of blended learning solutions nationwide starting with China's northeast region.

Under the 1-year agreement, CCIEE will exercise distribution functions by delivering ASAB's programs via its existing channels. The Centre is also committed to assist Asia Broadband in researching the regional markets for effective approach and implementation of its training solutions initially throughout the capital city of Beijing as well as Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. In support of that strategy, CCIEE has formed an executive team of professionals to work closely with Asia Broadband.
