Tandy Leather Factory Announces Retail Store Opening in Montgomery, Alabama


FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (AMEX:TLF) announced today that it is opening a Tandy Leather retail store in Montgomery, AL. The store is expected to open next week. This is the fifth retail store opened in 2005 and will bring the total number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 47.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Wray Thompson, commented, "We're excited to be opening in Alabama as we have a solid customer base already established there. Nick Silva will be the store manager. He has been training in our Dallas store for a year and is ready for the challenge of running his own store."
