eWAN 1 Envisions $4.8 Million Future Annual Revenue From New High Desert Wireless Access Point

SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- eWAN 1, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWAN), today announced that High Desert Wireless Broadband Communications, LLC (HDWBC) will activate its new access point in downtown Tehachapi, Calif. on Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, enabling eWAN to aggressively market its suite of advanced Wi-Fi services to the more than 6,000 residents of the mountain city. eWAN foresees potential monthly sales revenues of approximately $400,000, as a significant portion of the population contracts for services.

eWAN signed a letter of intent to acquire HDWBC, based in Mojave, Calif., in June, and expects to close following its due diligence, on schedule on Friday, Aug. 19. Three-year-old HDWBC provides advanced data interconnectivity solutions to homes and businesses from the Tehachapi Mountains to the Mojave Desert, the location of Edwards Air Force base.

William J. Kettle, CEO of eWAN, said, "High Desert Wireless is fulfilling the high expectations we anticipated when we decided to join forces with one of the leading wireless broadband companies in Southern California. This is the first step in rolling out our wireless products and services throughout the state, and then nationally. eWAN is committed to enhancing revenue for our shareholders."

Chuck Moses, CEO of High Desert Wireless observed, "We have thoroughly beta-tested the new tower over the last 60 days, and we're pleased that our established and new subscribers will now be offered new Wireless connectivity technology and products equal to or exceeding that available to SBC and Verizon-dominated large cities, and at a lower cost basis than other Broadband companies."

eWAN specializes in broadband network solutions including high-speed Internet access, data, gaming, voice and video services, utilizing the most advanced network design and architecture in the industry, based on building its telecommunications network "on top" of major metropolitan fiber optic interconnection points within class "A" carrier facilities, and by incorporating the fastest, most reliable, redundant and scalable hardware available. At present, eWAN is the only midsize ISP offering "wire-speed" networking in every device, at every access point.
