One Woman to Rule the World -- Author Weaves Tale of Romance, Betrayal and False Prophets in the Aftermath of World War III

ROSEVILLE, Mich., August 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Many believe that Earth is not far from experiencing a third world war, but no one can tell what that may bring to survivors around the globe. In her new book, Royal Rut (now available through AuthorHouse), G. Crifasi introduces readers to a courageous queen and the struggles she faces as she attempts to rule the planet according to her heartfelt beliefs.

The year is 2050, and Earth is recovering from World War III. The battle was fierce and involved not just international foes but also intergalactic invaders from the planets Aspin, Winango and Copra. Earth took a beating but claimed victory, and with the war's end, experienced changes.

Cars remain a useful mode of transportation for short distances, but spaceships enable people to quickly travel to different states, countries and planets. Peace now reigns under the kind rule of Queen Esteria. Widowed after the war took her beloved husband, King Rogerio, she struggles under the weight of her responsibilities and longs for a new man with whom to share the throne and her life.

As the story unfolds, Queen Esteria searches for a man worthy of her love and the respect of the people. For guidance, she frequently turns to the Bible and makes contact with her departed spouse. On her quest for love, she encounters issues of false prophets and must defend her position as a faithful follower of God to a disbelieving world court.

Mystery, romance and intergalactic excitement await readers on this unique journey through a strange new world.

Crifasi dedicated her time to raising five children before exploring her passion for writing. She has published six poems with the American Poetry Association, a work titled Essay in Bridges and a children's book titled A Pot Pourri of Poetry and Prose for Pre through K. Currently retired, she worked as a government secretary for eight years. She has been a student of the Bible for 30 years. Royal Rut is her first adult book.
