Universal Media Holdings Announces Major Infomercial Project


FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Universal Media Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:UMDH) is pleased to announced that it has begun production of an infomercial promoting the Heart Smart System(TM) line of nutraceutical products for American Scientific Resources (Pink Sheets:ASFX). The 30-minute infomercial is designed to educate a wide audience of consumers about the beneficial effects of the CoQ10 supplement in combating heart disease and maintaining healthy heart function. The infomercial, scheduled for completion by September, is intended to be viewed by test audiences in the fourth quarter of 2005.

Hollywood actor Gary Collins and actress Mary Ann Mobley will serve as spokespersons in the Heart Smart System(TM) infomercial. Mr. Collins is a talented and diverse actor, having portrayed a variety of characters in films, television movies, mini-series, series and on stage, and is an Emmy award winning TV host. Ms. Mobley is an award winning actress, former Miss America, a humanitarian, motivational speaker and documentary filmmaker. Mobley serves on the national Board of Trustees for The March of Dimes, is a Director of the Board for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, served on the National Council on Disability and volunteers her time and energy to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Mr. Collins and Ms. Mobley have been married since 1967. Michael Sorenson, a 20-year veteran of the international motion picture and television industries, will act as Supervising Producer & Creative Director of the piece. His extensive list of credits includes award-winning national commercials, series television and theatrical feature films. Additionally, Caroline Stevko of American Scientific Resources will act as the Project Manager for the production of the infomercial.
