"I am, at heart, a pop culture fanatic. When I am not working, I am always surfing the internet for folks with a unique perspective of life, or who have chosen a career path that some might find odd," says Jett. "And I love the word 'queer.' I have never thought of it as a word that is exclusive to one's sexuality. Everyone has something queer about them, some more than others."

"A cross between So Graham Norton, Sprockets, The Osbournes, and Max Headroom, assuming the host is Stuart Smalley's schizophrenic brother, Jack E. Jett somehow manages to be derivative and sui generis," says Arnold Wayne Jones of TXT Magazine.

Jett's professional background is as diverse as his new show. He received comedy training at Humber Comedy College of Performing Arts; was a successful runway and print model in the 80s; an assistant to Belinda Carlisle in the late 80s; and a U.S Representative for Prime Television Australia in the early 90s. His TV and film credits are also impressive. Jett hosted "The Jack E. Jett Show" on PrideVision Television Network in Canada, and "The Gayest Show on Earth," with a DVD released through TLA video. He sub-hosted "Cheaters," an international syndicated TV series; directed 15 experimental shorts under the name of Peanus Colada; and appeared in "Access Nation." Jett has also co-hosted "OnQ Live" since the show debuted on Q Television Network. Jett is a member of NATPE, World Digital Video Association, and Indie Film Group.

"QueerEdge with Jack E. Jett" joins QTN's returning favorites and a packed lineup of new series, including "Brunch," "Gay Court," "Flesh and Threads," "It's a Drag," "Q On Broadway," and "On the Road to the Gay Games" -- each debuting in September, just as the network celebrates its first anniversary.
