(Pink Sheets:CCMI) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, CarePharm, LLC, has reached agreement with Patient Advocates for Prescription Drugs, Inc. (PAFPDI) through which PAFPDI will refer pharmacy patients to CarePharm. PAFPDI, a Texas Not For Profit Corporation, acts as an advocate nationally for low and moderate-income families by helping them access free prescription drugs.
PAFPDI works directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers to help low-income consumers receive free prescription drugs directly from the manufacturer, through company sponsored Prescription Assistance Drug Programs (PADP). Many of those who inquire, however, have family incomes too high to qualify for free drugs. The pact with CarePharm will provide a cost effective prescription resource for those patients who do not qualify for PADPs.
