Finding the Ultimate Cause -- Author Reveals Secrets of Existence in New Book

LENEXA, Kan., Aug. 30, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Since humans rose from the muck of their nomad lifestyles and gained consciousness, they have pondered the meaning of it all. The ideas and theories of philosophy, science and religion have offered suggestions, but Neil C.P. Dukelow combines everything to give readers answers in his new book, "C Cause of the Universe Ultimate Cause UC: Introduction to Ultimate Cause Foundation for Complete Philosophy" (now available through AuthorHouse).

"Since the beginning of human thought people have sought to know the cause of all they knew. Religion, science and philosophy have had the goal of knowing the 'Ultimate Cause.' Until now people have not put together ideas that fit 'UC' and eliminate false leads," Dukelow says. "Now ... we know 'Ultimate Cause' of the universe, the reason for our being."

"C Cause of the Universe Ultimate Cause UC" is about the cause of the whole universe from galaxies of stars to subatomic particles, from DNA to human cultures. Dukelow unites "all thought, science, religions and philosophies" in his quest for knowing all. The result is "Ultimate Cause," which he arrived at through inference from the collective human knowledge of the universe. Through this "UC" viewpoint, readers can come to understand the things around them and enjoy "everything and everyone" unhindered.

"We work and struggle in the processes of life. It all ends. It is all mortal, except for the 'Ultimate Cause.' The morality and recycling of the universe make sense when we think of it as a drama for the UC to experience and enjoy. Our 'UC' is not mortal, so is not moral," Dukelow says.

Described as "our most intimate companion," "C Cause of the Universe Ultimate Cause UC" shares every thought and feeling experienced in the history of the universe in order to improve readers' present existences.

Born and raised in Kansas, Dukelow came of age during the first half of the 20th century when farms were still powered by horses and one-room country schools provided the only education. He majored in philosophy in college, graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary and became a pastor of four Presbyterian churches over the course of 40 years. Dukelow began writing "C Cause of the Universe Ultimate Cause" in 1934, at the age of 14, spent a summer of research in the Library of Congress in 1940 and allowed events of his life to revaluate and reinforce his conviction until its completion decades later. He and his wife have four children, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
