JetBlue to Extend Customer Rebooking Period for Travel to/from New Orleans

Customers Holding Reservations Through Sept. 30 May Reschedule Travel Through Oct. 8


NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today has extended the waiver period for customers scheduled to travel to or from New Orleans. Customers holding reservations for travel through Sept. 30 may rebook their travel without additional fare collection or change fee through Oct. 8.

JetBlue flights serving New Orleans have been canceled at least through Sept. 8. The airline's website at www.jetblue.com will remain updated with the latest operational information.

"Our hearts go out to the communities affected by this tragedy," said JetBlue Chief Executive Officer David Neeleman.
