Village Profile.com Establishes Hurricane Relief Fund to Benefit the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce

ELGIN, Ill., Sept. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Chamber publisher Village Profile.com has established a relief fund for the benefit of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce and seeded it with a $5,000.00 contribution by the company for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Several Chambers along the Gulf Coast have been affected by the horrific storm, particularly the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, in Gulfport, Mississippi with whom Village Profile has partnered on several Chamber-sponsored publications over the years. Although Village Profile has not been able to reach anyone associated with the Gulf Coast Chamber, we fear that, due to its proximity to the coast, the Chamber office may have been severely damaged or even destroyed.

As such, Village Profile.com has launched a relief fund for the benefit of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce. It is set up to allow the Chamber's Board of Directors full authority over dispersion of all funds collected -- whether for Chamber operations, families of the local community, and/or local businesses and Chamber members.

Contributions to the Village Profile.com/Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce relief fund can be forwarded in the form of a check and made out to:
