Song Celebrates Coast-to-Coast Service With Special $119 Fares

ATLANTA, Sept. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Song(r), Delta Air Lines' high-style, low-fare air service, is celebrating its extensive coast-to-coast service with a $119 one-way fare sale. (Additional taxes/fees/restrictions apply. Fare shown is available only for purchase on flysong.com, delta.com, or from a travel agent. See below for details and other important restrictions(1).) Tickets for this special fare will be available for purchase now through September 29, 2005, for travel between September 6 and January 31, 2006. The fare sale applies to Song's service between the following markets and includes Song's newest west coast service from Boston and Hartford, beginning September 6:



 -- Boston's Logan International Airport and Los Angeles
    International Airport (LAX);
 -- Logan and San Francisco International Airport (SFO);
 -- Hartford's Bradley International Airport and LAX;
 -- New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LAX;
 -- JFK and San Francisco International Airport;
 -- JFK and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Beginning September 6, Song will offer nonstop flights between Logan and LAX, as well as nonstop flights between Logan and San Francisco. Song will also start nonstop service on September 6 between Hartford's Bradley International Airport and LAX.

Song offers customers a wide array of on-board amenities on every flight that distinguish its brand from other low-fare services. Song's industry-leading in-flight entertainment system offers personal seatback video monitors that provide: 24 channels of live, DISH Network television free; free digitally-streamed MP3 programming that allows customers to create individual play lists of up to 32 songs at their seat (from an inventory of more than 1,600 songs); 10 movies available on-demand, allowing customers to start and stop the film at their leisure; a suite of 11 video games; and a popular interactive trivia game that allows passengers to compete against one another.

Song also offers a comprehensive onboard menu, featuring healthful, organic selections, as well as a few indulgences. Dave Lieberman, star of the new Food Network show Good Deal with Dave Lieberman, and author of Hyperion Books' YOUNG & HUNGRY: More than 100 Recipes for Cooking Fresh and Affordable Food for Everyone, is Song's newest executive food consultant. Lieberman has created healthy, delicious new selections that will be available on Song's menu through October.

Restrictions: Fares shown are available for purchase only at delta.com or from your travel agent. Tickets cost $5 more if purchased from Delta over the telephone or $10 more if purchased at an airport or city ticket office, and these amounts are nonrefundable.
