Coda Octopus Gears Up for U.S. and Worldwide Growth with Four Key Senior Management Appointments


NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Coda Octopus Group, Inc (Pink Sheets:CDOC) an international leader in marine solutions, today announced four key, new appointments aimed at strengthening its U.S. and worldwide management team and supporting the company's anticipated growth.

The company said the appointees are: Tony Parker, hired as Vice President, North American Sales; Anthony Davis, who moves up to the position of Senior Vice President Commercial Division; Blair Cunningham, who moves up to the position of Senior Vice President Products Division; and Richard Lewis, who has joined the company in its New York offices with the title of Strategic Development Executive.

Tony Parker, the new Vice President, North American Sales has more than 25 years of international sales management experience in the offshore industry and hands on knowledge of the hydrographic survey industry. Most recently, Mr. Parker headed domestic and worldwide sales at RESON, Inc., manufacturers of multibeam echo sounders and forward-looking sonar systems, where over a twelve-year period he made a key contribution to the company's substantial sales growth. His educational background includes a BSc in Survey Engineering from Chatham (UK) and a Post Graduate degree in Hydrographic Surveying from Plymouth (UK).

Taking on a new role at the company, Anthony Davis becomes Senior Vice President Commercial Division. Mr. Davis has focused previously on successfully developing business primarily in the U.S. Going forward he will oversee sales, marketing and business development worldwide.

Blair Cunningham takes on the new role of Senior Vice President Products Division, stepping up from Products Division Director in the U.K. He was previously employed as Technical Director of an affiliated software company, focused on developing turnkey software solutions for large public companies. He will now oversee the development of the company's products worldwide.

Working out of the company's New York City headquarters, Richard Lewis serves as Strategic Development Executive. With more than ten years in the banking and fund management industries, he brings a great deal of relevant experience to assist with the company's strategic development as well as its responsibilities and mission as a publicly traded company in the U.S.
