JetBlue Airways Reports August Traffic


NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in August increased 29.8 percent from August 2004, on a capacity increase of 28.7 percent.

Load factor for August 2005 was 90.1 percent, an increase of 0.8 points from August 2004. JetBlue's completion factor was 99.3 percent and its on-time performance(1) was 73.7 percent.
