Photo Release -- Battle Mountain Releases Technical Summary of the Fletcher Junction Project

RENO, Nev., Sept. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Battle Mountain Gold Exploration Corp. ("Battle Mountain Gold") (OTCBB:BMGX) is pleased to provide a technical summary of the geologic and geochemical studies completed at the Fletcher Junction Project. The reported discovery of vein material with gold values of up to 2.9 ounces per ton, as reported in our news release yesterday, reinforces the conclusions of detailed geologic mapping, water sampling, sage sampling, soil sampling, and rock sampling supporting the exploration concept that the Fletcher Junction Project Area contains a zone of gold-bearing mineralization covered by a thin veneer of young basalt flows. The accompanying map highlights the results of the recent rock sampling program. Please refer to the Company's website at http://bmegold.com/projects/index.htm for the complete technical summary.
